NFP Organisational structure
HLHR-KEMO Steering Committee and the NFP The Steering Committee (SC) is a HLHR-KEMO consortium coordination body assisting the PM and is not making part of the RAXEN NFP internal structure. The SC’s main task and competence is to coordinate the HLHR-KEMO synergy and joint activities. With respect to the RAXEN NFP, the SC assumes the role of assisting, monitoring and ensuring the adequate implementation of the project and its progress through information flow on behalf of the HLHR-KEMO consortium bodies and members (HLHR Administration Council members, KEMO Administrative Committee and members). The SC is composed by three members: the signatories of the HLHR-KEMO agreement to submit a proposal for the establishment of the Greek RAXEN NFP, the HLHR president Mr Dimitris Christopoulos and the KEMO Administrative Committee representative, Mr Konstantinos Tsitselikis, and the PM. The PM report to the SC about the project good implementation and progress according to specifications and with respect to the contractual deadlines on a trimester basis or upon request by any SC member. Therefore the SC serves to provide accountability guarantees towards the organisations which form the consortium. The SC operation contributes to the project smooth implementation through information flow and strategic decisions upon request and prior proposal by the PM. The PM has the overall responsibility for the project and for the availability of experts. He is ensuring that the work under the contract is executed according to the specifications and with respect to the contractual deadlines and quality-check of all deliverables with respect to the project management and quality plans. Therefore, the PM enjoys independence in regards to the project management and coordination actions and decisions within the project management plans, while the SC operation contributes to enhance his leadership and guarantee smooth implementation through information flow and assistance upon request by the PM. The PM participates in the SC also by providing information and requesting assistance and consultation where he deems necessary. This ensures that HLHR and KEMO render available experts in racism and discrimination, in order to ensure the maximum quality of RAXEN deliverables and performance of the National Focal Point. |
